It is a 2-story, designer home with an open floorplan, gridwork of glass to allow in plenty of light and offers ocean peeks.Originally constructed in 1975 with barn-wood imported from Idaho, it offers an old-world charm and a completely modern interior with all the conveniences. Perfect for families & beach lovers!Owners may bring their pets for an additional fee of $35/day

The space

Santa Cruz Ocean View Home: Located only one block from the beach, this is a two-story, designer home with an open-architecture style and cathedral type ceilings. Big windows and a gridwork of glass allows in plenty of light.This home sleeps 6 with two bedrooms, a large open living space (living room & kitchen), one large bathroom and plenty of patios. The living room has a sofa and a comfortable chaise that can double as sleepers.The upstairs bedroom opens to a private deck that gets the late afternoon sun. Here you can lay on a long couch, read a book or take a nap. In the evening, you can enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the sunset.Downstairs, a large wraparound redwood deck, bathed in sunshine overlooks a stunning garden filled with beautiful plants and rocks and a bevy of doves, finches, blue-jays and red-winged blackbirds. Garden lights beam up the trees at night and summer nights provide an occasion to sit in the hot tub in this zen-like setting and enjoy the clear starry nights in complete privacy.Sleeping arrangement: The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a pillow-top daybed, comfortably sleeping three. The downstairs bedroom has a Tempurpedic queen mattress looking through large French doors to the hot tub against a wall of black bamboo. There is also a single foam mattress an inflateable queen to use on the floor and a 5 ft chaise. In addition, the living room has a daybed.The tropical secluded backyard has a large wraparound deck, a hot-tub with chaise lounge-chairs, an outdoor hot & cold shower, a gas BBQ and a marble-top dining table & chairs.Guests may bring their dogs for an additional fee ($35/day).(Certificate # CO00340)

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire property - upstairs/downstairs decks, backyard, hot/cold outside showers, hot tub.Santa Cruz County permits only 2 cars per group at vacation rentals. There is plenty of parking on the street.
